nice fit - just what I needed
This product was a great fit for my 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R. I replaced the factory CD/stereo player with a new one (JVC KD-R200) that I purchased from Pepboys on sale. Fits and matches the interior quite nicely. The completed installation looks professional and I saved a lot of money doing it myself.

Perfect fit for a 2003 Sentra
This product fit perfectly in my 2003 Nissan Sentra. It is a flat black color and matches well with the other parts in the car.This is not designed for the radio to slip through the hole. Rather, this fits on the front of the aftermarket radio and the radio's faceplate is the only part that sticks through the hole. It is actually difficult to remove and replace the faceplate on this particular headunit because it requires the faceplate to be moved to the right about 1/8 inch, and the gap was not quite big enough. with practice, and a little extra pressure I can now re-install the faceplace.

Great reference book for home mechanics
It's what you would expect from a Haynes manual: concise, detailed, pictures of the parts and repairs being done, etc. I've been able to keep my 2001 Frontier on the road now with over 164,000 miles on it, no serious repairs, and all the basic maintenance being done in my home garage.The book is a little light on the front suspension and some of the optional equipment (i.e. cruise control, fog lights), but otherwise it hits the nail on the head.

Same as Chilton's!!
I couldn't decide which manual to buy so I ordered both Haynes and Chiltons. They are exactly the same word-for-word. Same Photos. Layout is slightly different. Apparently Haynes has purchased Chiltons. Other that that, technically the manual is fine. Everything I expected.

It worked great... easy to do-it-yourself, and yields professional results.
This is a clean install kit.Matches the bad fake leather finish of the 2000 Nissan Maxima almost perfectly... I wish the REST of the gummy sticky trim looked that good!The review:But it.Even if you second guess spending an extra 8-10 bucks over the generic ones with no brackets. It is worth it, especially when considering the way this installs, and the difficulty unscrewing the original bracket (maybe Jethro Bodine could!).When you watch the install video on Youtube - A MUST SEE - it shows the unit being removed as a big chunk... this kit is that chunk. If you pre-install the stereo to the Scosche NN1648B, the new stereo chunk drops back in and re-installs in seconds. It matches the dash and looks professional. This was too easy. I expected more cussing.Tips:(1) Be careful, this is plastic and not as solid as the original solid-as-a-boulder metal brackets. Once it is installed it fits clean, seemingly...

Looks Good
I bought this item to install a double-din headunit in my 02 Maxima. I must say that the appearance of the trim piece looks great and is almost a perfect match to the stock trim. My only 'issues' w/ this item are that the plastic brackets are a bit flimsy. Additionally, while it looks good as a whole, the top of the trim-piece that fits just below my a/c vents somehow causes the a/c vent to 'pop' outward slightly. I have had ppl ride in my car and comment how 'clean' the unit looks so they don't even really notice but since I installed it I do.
